As of 9:30 p.m., 7 are dead in shootings in Grand Rapids. The suspect, 34-year-old Rodrick Shonte Dantzler, has hostages. I'm not going to try to keep up with the news, but here are some links to follow.
UPDATE: at 11:50 p.m. the hostage situation is over, and the suspect is dead with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
