I treat this weblog as an unpolished open notebook, inspired by RFC 3 from 1969:

    At work I’m in the process of digitizing and publishing a series or working papers that ran from 1977 into the early web era. They were in their way a precursor to open publishing, both in the sense of an open bar and that of an open book.
