Stand with Wendy


The Texas legislature failed to pass SB 5, which would have drastically restricted access to abortions and closed a number of clinics in Texas. Sen. Wendy Davis (D-Fort Worth) filibustered the bill for nearly 13 hours, and a series of parliamentary moves kept the legislature up until 3 a.m. until the Republicans finally conceded.
